Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you use EA Assistant, we collect and process the following data:

Email address — provided when you interact with EA via email or connect your calendar.
Email content — the subject and body of emails sent to or CC'ing EA, used solely to understand scheduling requests.
Google Calendar data — free/busy information and event creation access, obtained through Google OAuth with your explicit consent.
Google OAuth tokens — stored encrypted at rest and used only to access your calendar on your behalf.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

Parse meeting requests from your emails.
Check calendar availability for you and other participants.
Create calendar events and send scheduling confirmations.
Send you email replies related to scheduling.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the scheduling service.

3. Third-Party Services

EA Assistant integrates with the following third-party services:

Google Calendar API — to read availability and create events.
Resend — to send and receive emails on behalf of EA.
Anthropic (Claude AI) — to parse email content and generate replies. Email content is sent to the Anthropic API for processing. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train models.

4. Data Storage and Security

Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest using Fernet symmetric encryption.
Data is stored in a private database accessible only to the EA service.
We use HTTPS for all communications.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing assistant@ea.ailancers.com with the subject "Delete my data".

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Revoke Google Calendar access at any time via your Google Account permissions.
Request a copy of your stored data.
Request deletion of your data.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to affected users.
